Lucas & Hannah's trip home to Gloucester from Eliot, Maine - Thursday 5-8-25

Last Thursday, the Lucas & Hannahs performed excellently on her journey back to Gloucester, MA, from the GCBC in Eliot, ME, and is now moored and ready for this week's trips. During our journey, we scouted Bigelow Bight and Ipswich Bay, and when we stopped at the Nicole Renee wreck grounds, Ann caught the first fish on our new boat. It was a slender, beautiful male codfish with a white belly, measuring 28.5 inches, likely just arrived after its long swim for the June spawning season. Coco approved, and Annie released the codfish back into the sea to continue its life.

Note: The cod season is from Sept. 01 through Oct. 31, 2025.
